    In 2012, Chobani CEO Hamdi Ulukaya converted an empty Twin Falls processing plant into a modern, state-of-the-art yogurt production facility. The company invested $350 million in the conversion, which was completed in just under a year thanks to the help of Idaho’s Rapid Response Team. Chobani was attracted to the Twin Falls area for its ample milk supply, skilled workforce and proximity to US I-84. Besides hiring employees for the plant, Chobani uses two million pounds of the region’s milk each day. In 2017, Chobani announced plans to build a $21 million research center addition in Twin Falls.

    Clif Bar, the California-based energy food bar company, broke ground on a 300,000-square-foot bakery in Twin Falls, Idaho, in March 2015. With a focus on people and sustainability, the 275,000-square-foot bakery helps the company meet growing demand for organic energy and nutrition bars. In 2018, Clif Bar began construction on a five-acre solar power system near the Twin Falls bakery.

    Fabri-Kal is a leading provider of plastic foodservice and custom thermoformed packaging solutions.     Jayco is a 50-year-old recreational vehicle company headquartered in Middlebury, Indiana, that opened a production line facility in Twin Falls, Idaho, in 2005, where it has approximately 230 employees. In early 2018, a 248,000-square-foot expansion was announced for the the Twin Falls facility, which will make it the largest Jayco production line in the country when completed.

    NewCold is a Netherlands-based storage, warehousing and logistics company that opened a facility in Burley, Idaho, in 2019. The cold storage warehouse can store 90,000 pallets and will provide eastern Idaho with 80 skilled jobs. At approximately 25 million cubic-square-feet, it is one of the largest automated frozen storage facilities in the United States.
